E Street Band sax man Clarence Clemons suffered a stroke on Sunday at his home in Florida. The 69 year-old "Big Man" reportedly underwent two brain surgeries, according to Bruce Springsteen fansite Backstreets. A friend of Clemons also told Backstreets that he had been paralyzed on the left side of his body, but is now able to squeeze with his left hand. Clemons has battled a number of health problems in recent years, including a double knee surgery. He had been in the news recently after performing on two tracks on Lady Gaga's Born This Way and even performed alongside her on the American Idol season finale. Gaga tweeted today, "Little monsters, my very close friend +musician on The Edge of Glory, Clarence Clemons is very sick. Can we all make some get well videos?"
GET WELL SOON CLARENCE!!
