Charlie Sheen is still cheering on Ashton Kutcher, his replacement on Two and a Half Men. Caught on camera by TMZ.com in Los Angeles on Monday, Sheen said he's "rooting hard" for the actor, and that he plans to be "front and center" to watch the episode in which his character Charlie Harper is memorialized. "Who's not gonna watch?" Sheen laughed. "I'm just as curious as everybody else."
Tweaking show co-creator Chuck Lorre's operation somewhat, Sheen tossed in, "It'll be nice to know that they get some carry-over ratings from people being sort of curious about what happened to their guy," meaning Harper, who's rumored to be killed by a train in Paris.
Sheen says has no doubts that Kutcher will be good for the show. "I think Ashton's gonna kill it," Sheen said, and then reminded viewers that on September 19th -- the same night as the Two and a Half Men premiere -- Comedy Central will air its roast of Sheen, which will be shot on September 8th. "It's gonna be a big night for everyone," the warlock insists.
The season premiere of Two and a Half Men airs 9 p.m. ET on CBS, while the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen begins at 10 p.m. ET.
