Charlie Sheen's celebrity roast was Comedy Central's most-watched roast ever, drawing 6.4 million viewers Monday, the cable network said.
Sheen's presence was felt over at CBS too, helping lead his former sitcom "Two and a Half Men" to its highest ratings ever. A record 27.7 million viewers watched Ashton Kutcher's debut in the series' ninth-season premiere Monday.
Meanwhile, unnamed sources told TMZ.com that Sheen watched "Men" and gave it a thumbs-up. He especially liked the fact that Ashton "was revealed through the dusty exploded smoke of my remains," he reportedly told pals.
Sheen plans to star in a new comedy series, "Anger Management," that may debut next year. The series, which is loosely based on the Adam Sandler-Jack Nicholson feature film, does not yet have a network.
