Lollipops shaped like marijuana plants have some local leaders in Buffalo, New York shocked and upset.
Pot pops is one of several versions of candy that resembles marijuana. The sour-apple flavored candy is made in China and distributed by supply company Kalan LP.
The candy has no illegal ingredients, but wording on the package says "legalize."
Kalan President Andrew Kalan says the candy has been on the market for at least six months and is in 1,000 stores around the country.
He says the candy does promote the legalization of marijuana and says he's surprised he hasn't received more complaints.
