The Rolling Stones will transport fans back to the summer of 1978 in The Rolling Stones: Some Girls Live In Texas, a one-night movie theater concert event on Tuesday, October 18. Unveiled for the first time in more than 30 years, this never-before-seen concert was captured live in Fort Worth, TX, on July 18, 1978. Digitally re-mastered to HD with Cinema Surround Sound, the footage includes a mixture of classic Stones hits such as "Brown Sugar," "Honky Tonk Women" and "Jumpin’ Jack Flash" paired with blues numbers and Chuck Berry covers, as well as songs from the then newly released Some Girls LP including "Beast of Burden" and "Miss You." The event will also include a 20-minute interview with Mick Jagger, filmed in August 2011, where he reflects on the 1978 U.S. tour. The Rolling Stones: Some Girls Live From Texas will be broadcast to more than 300 theaters nationwide. Presented by NCM Fathom, More2Screen and Eagle Rock, tickets are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com.
