Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will tour in 2012, as well as release a new album. Despite the loss of Clarence Clemons earlier this year, Springsteen and his crew will be quite active in the new year. In an announcement on Springsteen's official website, he announced a European run of shows from mid-May until the end of July, with U.S. dates to be announced. The statement adds, "In addition, we want you to know that the music is almost done (but still untitled), we have almost settled on the release date (but not quite yet), and that we are all incredibly excited about everything that we're planning for 2012. That's all the info we have for right now, but we'll get back to you--real soon." Four British festival dates have been announced for the summertime and Rolling Stone speculates the American tour could take place before the band goes to Europe.
