The music of The Rolling Stones and the 40th anniversary of the release of their iconic collection, Hot Rocks 1964-1971, will be celebrated with a special tribute concert at New York's Carnegie Hall on March 13, 2012. The initial lineup includes Rosanne Cash, Steve Earle, Glen Hansard, Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes, Carolina Chocolate Drops and The Mountain Goats, with more to be announced soon. The concert will feature 21 artists playing the 21 songs from the album and takes place 48 years after the Rolling Stones made their 1964 Carnegie Hall debut. The concert also will raise funds for music education programs for underprivileged youth.
