  • My new neighbors to the east....

Well it's springtime again and I have been spending my free time out in the yard bagging leaves picking up tree limbs and of course any stray dog poo. We also got new neighbors to the east of us and they bought the house that has been rented out for the last 12 years to every crazy person in Kansas. So now all of the neighborhood is hoping that these new PERMANENT neighbors are alot cooler than the last 10 renters who have the cops next door every other day. We hope the house isnt cursed. All of us neighbors got together last summer and we all wanted to throw in 50 bucks a month and rent it out ourselves so no one weird would move in. Is that bad ? I didnt think so ...I thought it was funny!!

  • Is Keith Richards one of the reasons for the delay of the 50th Annivesary Tour ?

Well Fox listeners if you were hoping The Rolling Stones would hit the road to celebrate their 50th anniversary this year, it looks like that won't happen until 2013. My sources told Rolling Stone that one reason for the delay is the questionable health of Keith Richards, which has raised concerns about his ability to make it through a worldwide tour. Instead, it's possible that the band will avoid traveling in favor of camping out in major cities for multi-night stands in arenas.

  • 60 minutes to air this sunday a profile on Aerosmith from the past few years

This Sunday on 60 Minutes, the show will air a profile about Aerosmith and all the personal turmoil the band has endured over the past few years. In a CBS News clip posted online, interviewer Lara Logan tells Steven Tyler that his bandmates love and respect him, but that Joey Kramer also said Tyler "tortured" him, while Tom Hamilton characterized him as "unspeakably cruel." Tyler acknowledged that, "I've said many things to all those guys that I should never have said, that I didn't mean," but he also stood up for himself by explaining, "You know what? I'm going to be big-headed right now. I think my perfectionism and my busting everyone's chops is what got this band to where it is today. In the end, I get a really good song and in the end, I get the hits. Yeah, I'm that good." Despite the interpersonal drama, the band has stuck together for 40 years amid many highs and lows, and they have overcome many rifts. Today, Tyler says, "This band's better than it's ever been. It's not because I'm old now and the band's been around forever and it's our last tour. It's because this band is that good."

More details have come out about the new album from Tenacious D, Rize of the Fenix, which is due on May 15. For the new work, the duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass re-teamed with longtime collaborator/drummer Dave Grohl, who also performed on both of the duo's previous LPs. The D will play a number of festivals this summer, including Sasquatch!, Download, and Rock am Ring & Rock Im Park.

  • Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary photo book is for sale

The Rolling Stones will issue a 50th anniversary photo book, aptly titled The Rolling Stones: 50, on July 12. July 12 is significant because it's the exact the date in 1962 when the band debuted at the Marquee Club in London's Oxford Street. The new book will feature 700 illustrations, 300 of them in color and many taken from the archive of the U.K.'s Daily Mirror, which contains the largest newspaper collection of Rolling Stones photography. The band said in a statement: "This is our story of 50 fantastic years. We started out as a blues band playing the clubs and more recently we've filled the largest stadiums in the world with the kind of show that none of us could have imagined all those years ago. Curated by us, it features the very best photographs and ephemera from and beyond our archives."

  • The story of Stairway to Heaven ...

The lyrics came to Robert Plant in a flash of inspiration when he and Jimmy Page were sitting by the fireplace at Headley Grange with Page strumming the intro chords. Said Plant: "I was holding a pencil and paper, and for some reason I was in a very bad mood. Then all of a sudden my hand was writing out the words, 'There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold/And she's buying a stairway to heaven.' I just sat there and looked at the words and then I almost leapt out of my seat."

  • Do Tattoos Make a Person Look Sexy? ? Here is the latest Poll!

Thirty percent of people with a tattoo say the ink makes them feel sexier, but 45 percent of those without the permanent body art disagree, saying it makes those individuals less attractive. The findings come from a new Harris Poll that shows one in five U.S. adults have at least one tattoo.

  • The Classic Rockers are still a rocking!! Here is what they are up too!

It looks like the planned Buffalo Springfield reunion tour is not happening this year after all, according to guitarist/vocalist Richie Furay. In a recent radio interview on WBAI/New York, Furay said that "I was actually told, 'We’re doing this 30-day tour.' And Neil [Young] is just fickle, and even though it boils down to all three of us making a decision... without the three of us, really there can't be anything that would even resemble a Buffalo Springfield. I gotta say that we probably lost a little bit of our momentum. That isn't to say it couldn’t be picked up again, but I certainly don't see anything happening this year." Buffalo Springfield played their first reunion show at Young's Bridge School Benefit concert in the fall of 2010. The next summer they played a six-date theater tour in California before performing at the Bonnaroo festival in 2011.

  • Do you still sleep with a Teddy Bear?

Ringo Starr (drummer with The Beatles) has a very large Panda which was given to him in 1976 by Keith Moon (the famous drummer with The Who). It was obviously love at first sight, as the two became almost inseparable. Ringo called his Panda 'Chairman of the Board', as he now resides over all of Ringo's business meetings. The Chairman of the Board was given a pair of white gloves which once belonged to Marc Bolan (of T-Rex fame).

Johnny Cash, who would have turned 80 on February 26, will be the focus of a series of tributes and celebrations in 2012, starting with the official ground-breaking of the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home Project in Dyess, AR. The Project will be a permanent tribute to Cash's early life and that of his family's, as well as reflect a historical slice of American life during the Great Depression. Arkansas State University is spearheading the restoration of not only the house that Cash grew up in and its various outbuildings, but has taken under its wing several other Dyess historic buildings in an effort to preserve the town's rich heritage. Also set for the year-long birthday celebration is the opening of the new Johnny Cash Museum in downtown Nashville, and Columbia/Legacy will release a series of archive titles beginning with Bootleg IV: The Soul of Truth slated for April 3. In addition, three documentaries on Cash's life are in various stages of development.
