  • U2 has new album due out sometime in more

Bono tells that U2's new studio album, due out some time in 2011, will be more streamlined than 2009's No Line On The Horizon. "We were trying to write an album with No Line On The Horizon that had a kind of narrative and if I look back on it now, it's probably too long. Maybe just by one song or two," Bono said. "It's incredible that people think 'Oh gosh I can put 17 songs on this' … it's like more cornflakes in a better box." The Edge also confirmed that U2 have been working with producer/musician Danger Mouse, who just won Producer of the Year at Sunday's Grammy awards.

  • U2 Fan? Read here!

U2 have been confirmed as a headlining act at this summer's Glastonbury Festival, making up for the band's cancellation last summer due to Bono's back injury. U2 will play the Pyramid Stage on Friday, June 24. In a statement, The Edge said, "It's more a way of life than a festival. I made it last year to the Friday show -- got to play with Muse, got to hang out, ate a veggie burger and fries, and got to play on the Pyramid Stage. I have to say there is something really special and iconic about that stage. So we're all looking forward to coming back to pick up where I left off. And we're so excited to get to play in front of the world's greatest festival audience." In other U2 news, an early song from their days under the name The Hype will appear on the soundtrack to the film Killing Bono. "Street Mission" was written in 1977 and will be played by the actors portraying The Hype in the movie, which is based on the lives of two musicians who left the band before they morphed into U2. There is no U.S. release scheduled for the film or its soundtrack.

  • Bring the Customer Service jobs back to the People!!

In this day and age it seems that it is harder and harder to get a customer service agent on the phone. More and more of companies are using the automation machine more than just answering the phone. Or if they DO utilize the automated service then PLEASE put the Operator / Customer Service option at the first of the phone call and not bury it somewhere at the end of the opening jibberish that they are preaching to you. I have noticed certain companies have Policeman at their locations. It's probably due to the upset customers who can't get the operator from their cell phones and have to come in and yell at them. Or your just paying your bill in the wrong neighborhood lol!! Good day to ya:)
