I read a letter to the editor of the Wichita Eagle this morning that was truly amazing. A woman named Linda Williams who lives in Rock Hill, S.C. was deeply saddened when "her" coach, Gregg Marshall, left for WSU. Rather than decide she disliked WSU for the "theft" she went to see what WSU was all about when the Shocks played in St. Louis. She quickly became a Shocker fan, not just because of Coach Marshall, but because she recognized our players as being a class act. Takes one to know one, I'd say, as Linda was among the people cheering the loudest when the Shockers won the NIT. If only, all of us could be so open minded!
