Tom Petty is one of those artists that defined a certain period in my life. In particular 1979. "The Lost Year" I like to call it. That was the year where my only job was D.J. at a southside disco on Friday and Saturday nights. The rest of the time was spent drinking, drugging, hangin out with my friends, sleeping with a few of them and listening to the great rock n' roll of the day. In particular "Damn The Torpedoes" by Tom Petty. Ah, fond memories anytime I hear a song from that album. ~ Phil ~
