Ugh! It's Wintertime....

  • Print

So I moved here to Wichita in the latter part of August.  It was around 100 degrees and I absolutely loved it.  See, that was normal for me growing up in Houston, Texas.  It was always hot and humid and I grew to enjoy it and it never bothered me.  So now that I  live in an area of the country where the temperature varies all the time, I get cold when it hits 60 degrees.

Well here we are in early November, and IT'S COLD!  Or at least I think so.  My neighbors shake their heads and smile and just say 'oh, you's going to get much colder'.  Don't get me wrong, I have lived and visited cold parts of the country and have been in snow and all of that, but I still will never like it.  I hear January through March is the tougher months. I look forward to my electric bills being way to high with the useage of my heater for the house.  (sarcasm).

And there you have it, my first blog and it's about me not being a fan of the cold weather.  haha! Welcome to Kansas!
