I like this. I am a fan of The Beatles. And I am a fan of Ron Howard films. Ron Howard, best known from his 'Opie' and 'Richie Cunninham' characters, as you may already know, has become a hugely successful and very talented Hollywood Director and Producer. From Rush, Angels and Demons, Apollo 13 and many others. Now comes word he has been given approval to do a Beatles documentary.
He is the lead singer of one of the biggest rock bands ever. He has an amazing voice, and, yes, he's actually a funny guy with a sense of humor. Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones pokes fun of himself and his band when referring to Monty Python's reunion shows in London.
Adam Lambart is flamboyant. Adam Lambert has an amazing presence. Adam Lambert has a fantastic voice. And so did Freddy Mercury of Queen. Queen quickly took notice from a performance they did together on an episode of American Idol and the rest as they say is history.
I am a fan of most of the Marvel and DC Comics movies that have been in the movie theaters the last 10 plus years. Ever since they revealed Ben Affleck as the new Batman, I've not really had an opinion since I want to see the movie before I make my mind up. They recently released a photo with a tease of what the new Batmobile looks like. I am excited and can't wait for the movie.
With the impending draft just weeks away, the anticipation of football season is here. I love football season and headling to the sports bar to watch my team play every week. They've also announced the schedules for every week.
With the recent class of the Rock and Roll HOF with KISS being one of the bands inducted, a drummer from a band that's already in the HOF has two words to say. He strongly believes this band deserves to be inducted.
If you grew up near the country or farm land, you've probably heard of cow tipping. Cow sleep standing up, so the idea was to run up really fast and push over a cow. If it works its really funny. If it doesn't, its pretty scary and can be dangerous. Now comes word that a new craze is CAR tipping. Cars are pretty heavy and can weigh tons. But 'smart' cars are very tiny and can weigh less than 2,000 pounds. I would hate to be the owner of a 'smart' car and come out one morning to see your car on its back legs. hahaha.
Whenever the space shuttle would land anywhere else than Florida after returning from space, it had to be returned from California or New Mexico on the back of a 747. The actual 747 that was outfitted to carry the shuttle is retired now and is being moved to Houston, TX to be an exhibit at Space Center Houston which is right next to The Johnson Space Center in Houston.
If you are a fan of the band RUSH and looking forward to another chance to see them live in concert, well, do I have good news for you. They are planning a tour for 2015 to celebrate their 41st anniversary!
Technology today is so far in advance than what it was like when I was a teenager in the 80's. I remember having Pong as a kid. Then we had an Atari system. We thought it was the coolest thing ever. Back then, the games were so high tech and amazing.
SXSW is coming up next week. One of the biggest music festivals in the world that happens every year in Austin, TX. A new biopic movie will be premiered during the festival as well. The biopic is about Jimi Hendrix. It looks to be really good.
