I don’t actually remember this “kiddie park” going on in the middle of the mall but I do remember the stage. For awhile when Towne East first opened there was a live T.V. Show broadcast from that stage. It was called “Kaleidescope” I think.

I deejayed a Muscular Dystrophy Dance Marathon on Labor Day Weekend. I’m pretty sure it was 1979. After that I don’t think it was used much for anything.
