Newton Medical Center to open walk-in clinic in Park City

Newton Medical Center has announced they will be opening a walk-in clinic in Park City.

The clinic will available for non-emergency illnesses and injuries during evenings, weekends and holidays.  It is expected to open in January inside the Park City Family Medicine office, located at 1755 E 61st St N.

“After serving the Park City community for the last 9 years, we realized that a walk-in clinic would better meet the community’s needs,” explained Alex Haines, NMC Vice President of Clinics said in a news release. “Simply put, injuries and illnesses don’t stick to business hours. This new Walk-in Health Clinic gives families an option when you can’t wait until the doctor’s office is open, but don’t need to go to a hospital.”

Primary care services for Park City residents will move to the Medical Plaza of Valley Center located at 641 North Seneca, which will formally merge with Park City Family Medicine on January 1, 2020.

The clinic will offer same-day non-emergency treatment for illnesses including sinus infections and the flu, as well as for injuries such as sprains, strains or minor lacerations. School and Department of Transportation physicals will also be available. Additionally, the clinic will provide vaccines for flu and tetanus.
