A man identified as a person of interest in a Barber County homicide has been taken into custody in Montana.

34-year-old Clinton Rogers was found Tuesday in Glendive, Montana, and he was arrested by the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for theft out of Kingman County, Kansas.   He is being held in the Dawson County jail.

Investigators will go to Montana to talk to Rogers about the death of 61-year-old Joyce Foulkrod.  She was found dead in her home in Medicine Lodge on July 27th.   The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Barber County officials identified Rogers as a person of interest and he was believed to be responsible for the theft of a vehicle in Kingman County the following weekend.
