The person fatally shot at an apartment complex in downtown Wichita is identified as 34-year-old Stephen Muriithi.
Police say a fight broke out around 2 a.m. Friday, at the Villa Del Mar complex, at Central and Nims. Multiple people were involved and a shot was fired, hitting Muriithi. First responders attempted to help him but he passed away at the scene.
