The City of Wichita has reported recent incidents of vandalism at public restrooms and other facilities.
The city posted a photo on Twitter on Monday showing damage to the restrooms at Boston Park at the splash pads. The restrooms will be closed until further notice.
City Council member Brandon Johnson retweeted the city’s post and urged parents to discourage their children from participating in a social media trend on TikTok where people cause damage to school facilities.
